Univ North Development Commences with Groundbreaking Ceremony

A groundbreaking event has taken place to mark the official start of building work at the Univ North site.

Baroness Amos, Master of University College, Oxford, welcomed guests to the Staverton Road site, which included Old Members and friends of the College – including benefactors of the development – current students, College staff, and representatives from the Fairfield Residential Home, which shares the site with the College, and the Univ North Neighbourhood Review Group.

SDC Director Dan Changer and Project Manager Farid Zadeh then led a site walk, providing insight into the project's next steps and answering questions from the attendees, shedding light on the development's challenges and intricacies.
