We have a dedicated, integrated SHEQ department

Our in-house SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality) department, led by Cy Philp, ensures that we maintain the highest standards in these critical areas. A former British Army Royal Engineer with extensive construction safety expertise, Cy has played a pivotal role in elevating our SHEQ performance.

Our Health & Safety procedures comply with ISO standards

The SHEQ department is structured into three core areas: Advisory, Compliance, and Training. Our Advisors provide expert guidance on health and safety practices, the Compliance team ensures strict adherence to HSE regulations and company policies, and the Training team focuses on ensuring all personnel are appropriately qualified.

We are committed to supporting mental health & wellbeing

At SDC, we also recognise the critical importance of mental health. Led by Jacquie Silverton, our dedicated Mental Health & Diversity Manager, we have established a team of Mental Health Champions to provide essential support to staff and their families. With a confidential and compassionate approach, we strive to foster a positive and supportive environment where mental well-being is prioritised alongside physical safety.
