Location: Bedford based and working across SDCs sites
This is a full time, permanent position
Overview:
SDC is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Electrician to respond to and resolve defects on a range of completed construction projects, as well as maintain various properties in the Company’s portfolio.
From time-to-time, you may also be involved in overseeing and checking the work of specialist electrical contractors.
As the sole full-time electrician for the business, duties will include:
- Attending completed commercial and residential properties to repair and maintain electrical installations and appliances.
- Work with the project team to identify and diagnose defects and coordinate any specialist sub-contractors.
- Electrical testing
- Small-scale installation works
About You:
- Hold 2391 test and inspection qualification
- Ideally hold JIB Gold Card and valid CSCS card.
- Have minimum 4 years previous experience as an electrician
- Be available to work Monday – Friday, full-time
- Hold full UK driving licence
